Another fave scented #Geranium- ROSE GERANIUM. I love, love, love this scent. It is so uplifting, calming, and benevolent. Plant it where you can brush it’s leaves with your hand or body as you walk by. Super EASY, like all pelargoniums. Sweet pink flowers attract bees. Would be great as a strewing herb on a pathway for a party or wedding. Or just for good ‘ol plain sensuality!

BITTER LEAF hardwood and softwood cuttings resting in liquid seaweed solution on the stove. Super excited to propagate these! Altadena Farmer’s Market friend and fantastic musician Tumi gave me these and I’m so happy to root this AFRICAN HOUSEHOLD STAPLE and MEDICINAL HERB. He brought cuttings with him when he moved to the US from Ghana. I love this. I love communities of gardeners and the plants that pass between our hands. I really do.

Of course lettuce tastes better in our #socal winters, BUT I’m super happy to offer these 4 packs of BOLT RESISTANT & HEAT TOLERANT #LETTUCE, perfect for this time of year. A couple of these are #Israeli varieties bred to take intense summer heat. So excited! Still, I would plant these in morning sun or in a sheltered spot. No bitterness, no bolting? Uh, yes, please!
