Super thrilled to offer COMFREY RUSSIAN ‘Bocking 14’ to the people of #losangeles ! Symphytum x uplandica. So many uses in you garden- medicinal, livestock, allantoin, compost, comfrey tea foliar feed, chop and drop mulch. This cultivar will not reseed and is super hardy. Appreciates moisture and some fert, and is tough to kill. Let’s do this, Los Angeles!
It’s Wednesday and we are in full effect at the AFM y’all! We are phasing into the warm season crops and I’m super excited that next week we will have our main season heirloom/ open pollinated tomato plants to offer. Chocolate Stripes? Giant Belgium? Green Grape? Aunt Ruby’s German Green? Paul Robeson or Nyagous, anyone? ( Personally, I say f*ck yeah to all of them) ;) #losangeles #tomatoes #gardening #farmersmarkets
My 4 yr old just chose this book to read as his pre-nap book. We read about Shungiku. I think I lost him at “Shungiku”. ;) Have been holding off on growing this for market till I research whether it’s the same variety that is grown for its tea flowers or used as a cooler in TCM. Chrysanthemum flower tea is delicious!
