Super excited to be offering the juiciest ‘Bocking 14’ Comfrey! The most useful plant in the garden. Medicinal, livestock, compost, compost tea, potent mulch..it goes on and on.
The “FARTICHOKES” are cracking! These Jerusalem artichokes, aka sunchokes aka fartichokes have burst through the soil and are waiting to be planted in your urban homestead. These plants form starchy tubers that can be harvested any time. Pretty yellow sunflowers form a quick privacy hedge. A good source of calories for you. Food for your chickens or pigglies. And an abundance of fart jokes!! Doesn’t get better than this, folks ;)
COVERT OPS! This little bed of corn mâché is tucked in behind some jewel toned sweet peas. Planted these a while back and forgot= salad for tomorrow! :) Yum.
Sweet single white rose from Arlington Gardens. Their freshness really stood out. Normally, I’m such a fiend for vibrant color palettes, but every once in a while I wonder what it would be like to have an all white garden. The restraint! I could never do it. ;)
I received the most wonderful gift from Christina @ThinkingStomach EGYPTIAN WALKING ONIONS from her garden! Thank you! It’s like Christmas in July! They are gonna hang near my tree collards. :) Super excited.
